Plains Cotton Cooperative Association: Innovation from Field to Fashion

Marketing Pool Committee

The Pool Committee is comprised of elected representatives from each PCCA district. Members of the committee must be a Delegate Body representative and an active pool member. Committee members are elected yearly and represent his/her district.

The committee meets monthly to be updated by PCCA marketing staff on pool sales and current market conditions. Members then provide guidance to the sales staff regarding pool sales by authorizing maximum sales for the current period.

The representation in each district is based upon the three year rolling average of Pool deliveries. This representation is reviewed and re-allocated every other year.
