Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA) recently restructured its Field Services Department to offer increased customer service and position the cooperative to integrate and implement new technology for the benefit of members and their local gins.

Dick Cooper, formerly of Producers Exchange, is PCCA’s new director of Field Services. Cooper, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, was directly involved in the transition to Triangle
Cooperative Services Company.

“Dick is a long-time supporter of the cooperative system, and he will be directly involved with PCCA’s ‘Gin Office of the Future’ program, ” explains PCCA Vice President of Administration Jim Taylor. Other changes in the department include the promotion of Leah Boone to the position of supervisor of gin bookkeeping and Scott Stockton to the position of supervisor of field services.

“Both Leah and Scott bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to these new positions and, hopefully, this new structure will enhance our efforts in these two areas so vital to PCCA’s success,” Taylor adds.
