President’s Letter

Van May
This is a letter I recently sent to our two key friends on Capitol Hill in Washington. It was a follow-up to phone conversations I had with each of them.
We are so fortunate to have representatives of their stature working daily for our interests. Their willingness to make the commitments described in the letter should help ensure better results for U.S. cotton and manufactured cotton products in future trade negotiations.
As we are all too aware, we have not fared so well in some past trade deals. Hopefully, with the help of friends like these, we can work toward better trade policy in the future.
